NHS Pensions Reform

October 19, 2011 By SSHA Leave a Comment

NHS Pensions Reform

The government is currently consulting on the contribution increases to the NHS Pension Scheme in England Wales and Scotland.

We do not believe these increases are justified or necessary and this money will go straight to the treasury to repay the national deficit. We need you to respond to the consultations now. Consultation for England and Wales ends on 21st October and for Scotland on the 17th November.Visit the website where you can view the consultation documents and send your comments direct to government.
Click here and send your message to government today.

MATERIALS

You can now order pensions campaign material directly from the Unite website for the pensions campaign. Click here to download a request form for your supply. We need posters and flyers in every workplace.

CHAMPIONS

We’re looking for 30 November Day of Action champions in every region.Champions will be key to help help us deliver the messages of our campaign. They will help to make sure that the latest campaign news and materials are available to our members and that people are fully aware of the ballot, the campaign and what’s at stake.Get involved – be a 30 November champion

Many thanks
