PEP should be taken as soon as possible and it is only effective if it is taken in the first 72 hours following exposure to HIV. Like emergency contraception, access to PEP requires real-time information that is location specific.
SXT Health CIC is running a campaign to sign up UK providers to enable real-time access to post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) following sexual exposure to HIV. It takes five minutes to register and another ten minutes to add in your times and services.
