Portfolio Development Support / Cymorth Datblygu Portffolio

Public Health Practitioners

Applications are invited from public health workers across Wales to the Public Health Practitioner Portfolio Development Support Programme (2010-11). Through this programme practitioners will be able to access a range of support in developing portfolios of evidence against the UK Public Health Register’s (UKPHR) Public Health Practitioner (Draft) Standards for Registration.

Successful applicants will receive a range of support through CPD opportunities and mentoring including self-assessment, collating evidence and demonstrating competence.

A further breakdown of the programme and information on the application process can be found in the ‘Public Health Practitioner Portfolio Development Support Programme (2010-11) Guidance Document’ which can be downloaded along with an application form at http://www.publichealthwales.wales.nhs.uk/.

Applications are welcome from public health practitioners from organisations across Wales.

Public Health Specialists

The Top-Up Support Programme is for public health professionals working at senior strategic levels. It provides six months support to help in the preparation of a defined specialist portfolio to be submitted to the UK Voluntary Register for Public Health Specialists.

A further breakdown of the support offered and information on the application process can be found in the ‘Top-Up Support Programme (2010-11) Guidance Document’ which can be downloaded along with an application form at http://www.publichealthwales.wales.nhs.uk/.

Applications are welcome from public health professionals from organisations across Wales.

Cymorth Datblygu Portffolio

Ymarferwyr Iechyd y Cyhoedd

Gwahoddir ceisiadau gan weithwyr iechyd y cyhoedd ar draws Cymru i Raglen Cymorth Datblygu Portffolio Ymarferydd Iechyd y Cyhoedd (2010-11). Trwy’r rhaglen hon bydd ymarferwyr yn gallu cael mynediad i ystod o gymorth o ran datblygu portffolios tystiolaeth yn erbyn Safonau Cofrestru (Drafft) Ymarferydd Iechyd y Cyhoedd Cofrestr Iechyd y Cyhoedd y DU (UKPHR).

Bydd ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus yn derbyn ystod o gymorth trwy gyfleoedd DPP a mentora yn cynnwys hunanasesu, coladu tystiolaeth a dangos cymhwysedd.

Mae’r Rhaglen Cymorth Ategol ar gyfer proffesiynolion iechyd y cyhoedd sy’n gweithio ar uwch lefelau strategol. Mae’n darparu cymorth am chwe mis i helpu i baratoi portffolio arbenigol wedi ei ddiffinio i’w gyflwyno i Gofrestr Gwirfoddol Arbenigwyr Iechyd y Cyhoedd y DU.
