Hi,
I am emailing on behalf of Jim Gamble, the founder and former CEO of CEOP, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre. I wanted to pass on some information to you about a series of conferences were are running called ‘GLIMPSE” Inside the mind of a child sex abuser’ in five locations throughout the UK – Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff and London on week beginning 24th March 2014.
We ran this conference in Belfast in September and have been pushed to move it to the UK after high demand. We had representatives from many child protection charities, police, CPS, safeguarding board members, clinical psychologists, behavioural analysis teams, teachers, sporting bodies, health professionals and others that work within the child protection arena.
We want to send the information about this as early as possible for people to secure their place and have sufficient time to release staff from work on the day. We are keen to get this to everyone that works with children, on behalf of children and on behalf of child sex offenders also as this will be an element to the day. We have a very powerful victims journey to open the day and the speakers will in turn be of the highest calibre.
Please can I ask you to forward this information to anyone that might be interested as we want anyone working within child protection to attend this conference.
We have full details of the locations and speakers on our website at https://www.ineqe.com/glimpse-2014/
I can supply you with an interactive PDF or e-flyer if needed also.
Thank you for your help with this,
Best wishes,
Rachel
